Hello, my name is Brady, and I have a passion for coffee and pottery. For years, I've been dreaming of creating a community space where people can come together to enjoy great coffee and get creative with pottery. Honestly, normally I wouldn't have entertained the idea of a GoFundMe, but I have a potential opportunity to secure an ideal retail location, and I'm trying to raise money to do so before the opportunity is gone. So here we are!
That's why I'm excited to announce the launch of Carolina Roasting Company, a coffee roastery and pottery studio located in the heart of our community. Our mission is to provide a warm and welcoming space where people of all ages and backgrounds can gather to enjoy delicious coffee, learn the art of pottery, and express their creativity.
I'm excited to bring coffee roasting to our community. We'll be sourcing the highest quality green coffee beans from around the world and roasting them to perfection, creating unique and flavorful blends that will keep you coming back for more.
But that's not all - we'll also be offering pottery services, including paint-your-own pottery sessions and classes. Our studio will be a place where anyone can come to explore their creativity and learn new skills, no matter their experience level.
To make this dream a reality, we're launching a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for our startup costs. We're asking for your support in helping us bring Carolina Roasting Company to life. With your help, we'll be able to secure a location, purchase equipment, and hire staff to make our vision a reality.
We've put together some exciting incentives for our supporters, including early access to our coffee blends, pottery classes, and custom pottery orders. Your support will not only help us bring this dream to life, but it will also help to build a thriving community space that will benefit our town for years to come.
We set our starting goal at $50,000. This will be used to secure our location, this is the most immediate need and must be addressed first. The rest of the money we can raise over multiple years if necessary, but the location is a must.
The first $50,000 will go towards securing our location. The next $50,000 will be used for renovation and equipment purchasing. This includes any necessary repairs or updates to the space, as well as purchasing equipment such as pottery wheels, kilns, coffee roasting equipment, and furniture.
We believe that by raising $100,000 overall, we will be able to launch our business successfully and provide a unique and valuable service to the community. We are committed to using these funds responsibly and efficiently to ensure that we can provide the best possible experience for our customers. However, we may need to increase our goal, begin operations in a limited capacity, or pivot and only offer pottery or coffee for example. Many factors influence this, between community interest, health department inspections and approvals, etc. We will try our best to make the full dream a reality, but we need your help to make it happen!
